NATURE

                                 
                 
the reason why I chose this video is that we can see the all shwdes of green. Green is a source of peace for lots of people. You can see the beauties of nature by watching this video. We have a unique nature and we neglect it. We should wake up and see the our beautiful nature and protect it.

I want to talk about nature  because it bewitchs me .Trees, flowers,animals , sky ,soil, clouds, rain, snow, fog, seas, oceans, rivers, peas, roses, rainbows, leave, tulips, stars...I can not count all of the beauties of nature . Every edge of nature is decorated with colourful flowers. For example there are greenful woods in somewhere but blue seas, oceans and rivers in another place. In contrast with them borderless yellow and brown deserts  in the warm parts of world. While there are borderless plains in world , very high mountains have taken their place too. While there is a beautiful earth  , there is also a perfect scene in the sky. I mean stars and moon which are all shining brightly in a darkness and there is a perfectly shining sun in the morning. We can see the gorgeous harmony. While storms , heavy winters, rains, hurricanes are in some parts of world , there are springs , summers, fresh flowers and greenful woods in the other parts of world . While some parts of world see sun , the other parts of world see moon and stars. We saw the beauties of world and If we want new generations also to see this tremendous world then we should do something to protect it.Why are we so selfish? Why do not we protect our beautiful world? Will our children be  able to see fall when yellow leaves shed consecutively?Will they be able to see winter when everywhere is full of snow and children play snowball. Will they be able to see spring when the dead nature awakes, flowers begin to show their colourful bracts, tiny green leaves show themselves? We live in a perfectly designed planet but we do not protect it. New generations also have the right to see all these beauties so we must protect this beautiful world for them. In shortly we have a perfect world to live and this world belongs to everybody.We must love our beautiful nature and do everything to protect it.

EMMA


Emma is novel by Jane Austen and I love very much it.The novel is very succesful and its film version is also very succesful . This is a nice part of it . There are two girls called Emma and Harriet. In this novel their complicated  love stories are told and their dilemmas are told in detail. The nature of womans is explained very successfuly that is,  their loves, feelings, thougts, dilemmas, wishes and everything belonging to womans are explained . One of things that makes me love Emma is that there is a nice nature in this novel. There are a small town , green gardens . flovers, villagers and  animals. In other words, an environment which a majority of people miss now and when we read Emma , I felt this peacefull environment and I felt as if I was one of these characters.Jane Austen is a very clever author and we can see her great succes in her novels.  For example there are very complex relationships and author solves all these interestingly. The feelings of characters are explained thoroughly and you may feel as if you are a best friend of these characters. When we think about all these aspects this a very succesful novel and when we think about film , this is also very  successful . The characters and environment were selected conveniently and descriptions in novel were reflected in movie in the same way and there is no evident differenceWhen you are watching this film , you can get rid of this boring and tiring world.Some people miss the past and sometimes they want to remember these beautiful days. This novel and its film version are for these people. As a result, I  liked this novel and movie very much and recommend everybody.

ERROR CORRECTİON


1. When ı first heard that I had been accepted to Middle East Technical Unıversity, I was disappointed. BECAUSE I did not like Ankara as a city. But my opinions have changed over time dramatically. Because Middle East Technical Unıversity is really a different world in Ankara. 2. It has been only one month since I came here. But I got used to this environment. Because, first of all, people from all of ages in here respect to each other. 3. I love Ankara,I love my dormitory,I love my new friends, I love my department,I am content with everything which are belongs to METU. 4. If someone wants to walk , he or she can go and walk. And it is nice place to go and meet with my friends 5. We can easily see this by watching TV,surfing on the internet or maybe just looking around us.Because there are many people getting graduated from different kinds of universities but they're not even able to know what's going on around them or they don't even try to find good ways to improve the countries that they live 

There are some errors  in text for example some letters were written wrong. From all of ages  must be changed as from all ages and there are irrelavent sentences and also some clauses which were connected each other with comma but this is a wrong usage . There is a wrong pronoun usage for example with my friends must changed with her/his friends.

I think this a very beautiful and creative video. I liked it very much because it shows us past and present generations of METU FAMILY. When I watched it , I felt as if there is another family for me in Ankara. METU is a big and peaceful family and we are all very lucky for being amember of this family.I also liked the new slogan and I think it is very creative. In my opinion it is very good because all METU famiky is here. To graduate from METU does not mean that you are a member of METU no more. We are in METU now but we will graduate and our new family members will attend our bigand warm family. When new prospective family members watch this video , they will feel the warmth of this beautiful family and they will want to be a member of this warm and big family. When we think about these features of the video , it is a really perfect video to introduce METU to its lovely prospective members.
