BEING A STUDENT AT METU (revised)

Being a student at METU means that freedom, social activities, ceremonies, concerts, modernity, opportunities, facilities, an experienced, understanding and considerate education staff, understanding managers, a gorgeous nature and awesome environment are waiting for you. And, you know that all these aspects can not be found everywhere so you feel that you are privileged for you study at METU.

I am  proud of being a student of METU because there are a lot of opportunities to develop ourselves and attempt to a very successful and promising career. Moreover, thanks to the facilities of METU, we are educated in a scientific and critical way so that, as time passes we feel that we are gaining an outlook which can look different things, understand and particularly respect them. There is not any restriction. And when we consider about dormitories, meals and transportation facilities, I think that METU is trying to provide its students with all necessary things which it can do. In other words, when you come here you are not lonely there are someone who will protect you and make here familiar for you.

There are some problems at METU too, but when we think about all aspects of METU they are very unimportant to be obsessed with.

Finally, if there is a challenging thing, at first I am trying to cope with this problem by myself and if I can ‘t get over it, I consult senior students, generally the suggestions of them are enough to solve my problem ,but if it don’t work, I turn to official managers and thanks to their help I can handle my problem. METU is a perfect university and we are all very lucky to have opportunity to study here.
